Les Parcours De Paris, 2022-2023

The work Les Parcours De Paris is an installation consisting of forty-five panels. On each of these panels there is a representation of one of the forty-five categories freely chosen by Marleine Chedraoui. The representations are based on information from the nomenclature of the streets and the city map of Paris. For each selected category, the artist researched the corresponding elements and then checked whether they appear in the street names of Paris. From the street names filtered in this way, Chedraoui created a course for the respective category and visualised the corresponding elements on the left-hand side of the panel.
